Richard D. Woolridge

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard D. Woolridge of Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away at his home on March 27, 2023, at the age of 73.

Rick was born in Sioux City, Iowa on July 16, 1949 to Gordon Woolridge and Ruthie Woolridge (Render) of Riverside.  Rick grew up, attended school, and was a prideful lifelong resident of Riverside.  He graduated from Riverside High School in 1967.  From there he went on to establish his independently owned painting business where he provided stellar services all across the Siouxland area for 50 plus years.   Later in life, Rick found a passion for golf, which he enjoyed regularly with family and friends, even capturing the elusive “hole in one.”  Rick was a great son, brother, uncle, and most all, a friend.  The family wishes to thank all of Rick’s friends at the Skyline.   The family is eternally grateful for the friendship and support you provided him over the years.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother, John Woolridge.  He is survived by his nephews, Randy Woolridge (Jenna) of St Leonard, MD and Matt Woolridge (Ange) of Sioux Falls, SD.

The family will be conducting a private memorial.
