Paul J. Utterback

Paul J. Utterback, 67, of Rembrandt, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 in Sioux City, Iowa.  Private family services will be held.  

Paul was born the son of Paul and Mary (Canny) Utterback on April 22, 1954 in Ottumwa, Iowa.  He graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1972.  Paul married Jan Huber on September 5, 1992 in Hills, Minnesota.  To this union a son, Josh was born.  He later married Andrea Valdez on October 2, 2014 in Cherokee, Iowa.

Paul had worked for Tyson in Storm Lake for several years and also did construction work.

He enjoyed collecting coins, gardening, watching the history and discovery channels, and rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Paul is survived by his wife, Andrea Utterback of Rembrandt, Iowa; son, Josh Utterback of Sioux Falls; and brother, Tim Christenson of Carrsville, Virginia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arthur “Bud” Utterback, and sister, Theresa Haney.
