Kevin L. Juzek

Kevin L. Juzek, 51 of Merrill, Iowa passed away on May 11, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2020 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Social distancing measures are being taken at the funeral home to ensure the safety of family members and attendees. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill. Kevin was born June 11, 1968, in Sioux City Iowa. Kevin was the son Marvin M. Juzek and Darlene (Solomon) Juzek. He graduated from Le Mars High School in 1987. Kevin worked hard at Jolly Time Popcorn Factory for four years, followed by painting for various companies for over 10 years.

In 1991 Kevin became a father to his son Mitchel Leroy Juzek. Mitchel was the light of his life. Kevin was a family man, who always put his family first. Family, Friends, and his dog Abby were Kevin’s greatest joys in life. Kevin had a heart of Gold, and would do anything to make someone smile.

Kevin was a man of great Faith, and knew his Lord. Kevin was baptized into Christ with his brother Jason, and Son Mitchel on November 24, 2019. Being baptized was something that was very important to him. Kevin took joy in reading scriptures and visiting the buffalo with his brother Jason.

Kevin was a loving Son, Father, Brother, and Uncle, who will be missed by many.

Survivors include his son Mitchel Juzek of Le Mars; Mother Darlene Juzek of Merrill; Wife Kim Juzek; Siblings, Lori Thompson (Don) Thompson, Tim (Marie) Juzek, Jason (Faith) Juzek, Uncles Richard (Christy) Solomon and Donald (Olene) Solomon; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Juzek, Sister Lisa (Juzek) Gatts, Nephews John Charles Gatts, and Corey Marvin Gatts, Grandparents, Charles and Mabel Solomon, and Charles and Wilma Juzek.
