Katie Mae Kellen

Katie Mae Kellen, 39, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Raymore, Missouri. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday July 17, 2021 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

She was born January 31, 1982 in LeMars, Iowa to Ronald Kellen and V. Rae Kellen. Katie was a 2000 graduate of Remsen-Union High School and then became a CNA. 

Katie worked for many years as a CNA where she enjoyed taking care of others. 

Katie loved spending time with her family, listening to music, relaxing by the lake, and helping others. 

Katie is survived by her parents Rae Kellen of Raymore MO, Ron Kellen of Bella Vista AR, sisters Shani Jackson and husband Earnest, Trista Eppling and husband Larry, Kasey Patton and husband Ronnie, and Kris Wrona. Nephews Michael Fields, Exavier Jackson, CJ Patton, Brendan and Kellen Wrona, Edje, Epic and Era Jackson. Nieces Katlin Patton and Emarie Jackson. 

Katie was preceded in death by Grandparents Ray and Marian Kellen, Elmer and Lorraine Kannegieter.
