Zachery Allen Bickett

 Zachery Allen Bickett passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at his home in Sioux City, Iowa, at the age of 27. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 1 pm to 5 pm at JP Denmark in Viborg, SD. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up for Cecelia Bickett at First Savings Bank, Beresford or Venmo @Jeff-Bickett or @Shandra-Daughters

 Zach was born on February 2nd, 1997 to Jeff Bickett and Shandra Daughters in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He grew up in Beresford, SD, and was baptized at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He attended Beresford Schools graduating in 2015. 

 Zach had a tight group of friends from preschool all the way through high school and those friendships carried on even after school ended. At the age of ten he was introduced to the sport of arm wrestling by his dad, Jeff, they would travel all over to compete in tournaments. Breaking his arm in 2011, at the age of 14, did not deter his love of the sport, only making him more determined to come back better and stronger. Upon his return he would win multiple tournaments and state championships. At the age of 16, he won a junior national championship qualifying him to compete for the world championship. Through the years, Zach continued competing and even organizing tournaments winning his last nationals in 2023. He loved getting together with his team to train and practice.

 Zachery was also very active on the football field, playing semi pro football for The Dakota Bulldogs, The Wild Cats, and The Tri-State Tridents. As well as trying his hand at coaching for the Tri-State Buffalos.

 Zach met Alyssa Narum in September of 2016 and were united in marriage on September 14, 2019 in Sioux Falls, SD. They enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, sporting events and hanging out with friends.

 His greatest joy in life came on October 11, 2021 when Cecelia Ashllen was born. When he wasn’t spending time with CeCe he could be found at the gym, riding his motorcycle, fishing, training with his arm wrestling team, playing video games, watching the Denver Broncos, or spending time with friends and family.

 Thankful for sharing his life are Alyssa Bickett and their daughter Cecelia (Sioux City, IA); Parents: Jeff (Sarah) Bickett (Beresford, SD) and Shandra (Scott) Daughters (Brandon, SD); Siblings: Alyshia (Cory) Reiff, Kaylee Bickett, Sarah (Anthony) Newell, Caleb Newell, Ryan, Harper, Ella, and Theodore Bickett; Nieces and Nephews: Cole Reiff, Roselynn Juhnke, Conrad Reiff, and Ava Reiff; Grandparents: Steve and Pat Bickett, Kelly and Mary Daughters, Shirley Fast, Gary and Jackie Newell; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as numerous other family and friends.

 Preceded in death by Grandmother, Janet Newell; cousins, Lynae and Marci Hespe and good friend Isaac Smith.
