Willie H. Dillard, 69, of Sioux City, IA passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023, following a four-year battle with health complications that resulted into heart failure.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave.) in Sioux City with Evangelist Monique Scarlett officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will take place at Logan Park Cemetery.

Willie, the son of Willie Dillard and Frenzola Bradley, was born September 13, 1954, in Osceola, Arkansas. Willie grew up and attended school in Osceola. In 1975, he moved to Sioux City, Iowa and was united with Dorris Jackson and they were blessed with five sons. From 1975 to 1995, Willie worked at Tyson. Through his love of cars, Willie operated Dokeys Detail Shop.

Willie’s hobbies included: watching his favorite sports teams (Minnesota Vikings Football and Chicago Cubs Baseball); watching boxing and helping train; riding his motorcycle; and watching Pastor Jeff on Sunday mornings. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with friends.

He is survived by his spouse of 48 years, Dorris Jackson of Sioux City, IA; sons: Calvin Jackson, David Jackson, Willie Jackson all of Sioux City, Michael (Michelle) Jackson of Rapid City, SD, and Phil (Theresa) Jackson of Omaha, NE; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandsons; adopted son, Matt Mothershed of Sioux Falls, SD; one brother, James (Valerie) Key of Osceola, AR; one sister, Emma (Leroy) Gibson of Jonesboro, AR; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frenzola Bradley; father, Will Dillard; one sister, Clara Belle Key; twin brothers: Floyd and Lloyd Key; and mother-in-law, Doris Hollister.
