William R. Massey

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of my Father (and beloved Papa), William (Bill) Rea Massey, who left us on May 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran and cherished every moment spent with his 3 grandsons.
He is survived by his daughters, April Husted (Chad Husted) and Angelia Line; 3 grandsons, Chad Husted Jr., Devin Husted, and Gage Husted (fiancé Madison Otto); granddaughter, Elaina Line; mother, Lola Johnson (Rea); sisters, Jodi Johnson, Vicki Massey, and Kim Johnson; and brothers, Steve Massey and Gary Massey.
Preceded in death by his father, Harlan Massey; and brothers, Doug Massey and Randy Massey.
The family asks that you take a moment and thank and honor our veterans.
Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave.) in Sioux City. Following visitation, Bill's ashes will be laid to rest at Graceland Park Cemetery with military honors by the United States Army Honor Guard.Guestbook
