W. Eugene Freymann

W. Eugene Freymann, 90 of Rural Plymouth County, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be at 7:00pm Monday, October 12, 2020 at Country Celebrations Event Center. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is handling arrangements. Eugene was born on September 11, 1930 in Rural Plymouth County, the son of Eugene and Minnie (Gerstader) Freymann. He attended Plymouth County country schools, and lived in Rural Plymouth County his entire life. He farmed on the family farm for his entire life.

He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Sioux City. In addition to farming on the family farm, Eugene raised hogs and cattle, which he absolutely loved. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: George and John.
