Virginia M. Sagert, 76 of Dakota City, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at her residence, comforted by family and cared for by St. Croix Hospice.  Abiding by her wishes, cremation has taken place and burial in the Taylor Cemetery of rural Homer, Nebraska will be at a later date.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
