Troy Glen Hunt

Troy Glen Hunt, 59, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at a local hospital.

A Celebration of Life with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Troy was born August 7, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa.  The son of Darrell and Virginia (Bolton) Hunt.  He graduated from North High School.  Troy worked as a chef for various restaurants in the Siouxland area.  He really enjoyed fishing, softball, playing darts and pool with Connie, and was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker and Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders fan.

Survivors include his son: Ben Hunt of Sioux City; step-daughter: Angela Tanner of Sioux City; grandchildren:  Austin Tanner and Haley and Nathan Jorgensen; brother: Terry (Stacie) Hunt of Bellevue, NE; sister: Charmin Twinn of Sioux City; brother: Jon (Bobbi Jo) Hunt of Sioux City; nephews: Ryan Hunt and Spencer Hunt of Bellevue, NE and a close cousin Dawn (Bolton) Thomas, and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Troy was preceded in death by his parents Darrell and Virginia Hunt, wife Connie Hunt, and brother Brent Hunt.
