Tina Louise Deming

Tina Louise (Welch) Deming, 60 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 6th, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel on Wednesday, April 13th, at 2:30pm. Visitation with family present will be one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.meyerbroschapels.com  In lieu of flowers, Tina's wish is that donations be made to Avera Hospital's Walsh Family Village in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. (The Walsh Family Village provides temporary, low-cost, living arrangements for out-of-town patients of the Cancer Institute and their families, where Tina spent time during her cancer treatment.)

Tina was born on July 12th, 1961 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Wayne and Jeanette (Beau) Welch. She graduated from Mount Mercy College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She married Robert Deming on February 4th, 1992 in Elk Point, South Dakota. Tina worked as a nurse for many years, with the majority of them spent as a critical care nurse at Mercy Hospital in Sioux City. After retiring from nursing, she found a passion for helping others financially, and worked for Primerica Financial Services.

Tina enjoyed spending time with family and friends, game nights, camping, spending time outdoors, painting, drawing, and caring for the many pets that she raised in her life.

Those left to honor Tina's memory include her loving husband, Rob, sons: Damon Deming of St. Peter's, Missouri and Ryan Deming of Sioux City, Iowa; daughters: Kelli (Josh) Deming of Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah (Mike) Deming of Sioux City, Iowa, and Emily (Will) Becker of Farmington Hills, Michigan; grandchildren: Brianna, Jayden, Riley, and Rylee; brothers: Tom and Tony Welch; brothers-and sisters-in-law: John Deming, Mike Deming, Rosemary McKinley, Vicki Deming, and Susan Deming; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Rocky.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Jeanette; grandparents; son, Nicholas; parents-in-law, Walter and Rosemary Deming; and brothers-and sister-in-law, John McKinley, Larry Deming, Steve Deming, and Rita Deming.
