Thomas Edward (Tim) O’Connor

   Tim O’Connor, age 90, passed away at his home on February 8, 2021. He was born in Waterloo, IA on January 16, 1931, to Edward and Anna Luella O’Connor. Tim was a longtime resident of Siouxland, moving here in 1970 with his wife Frances (Kielty) and their three children. Tim was a veteran employee of Wilson Trailer Company. During his 50-year career he became the Vice President of Manufacturing .

   He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Gisela O’Connor, his daughter Julie Arthur (Harry), their children: Jay (Rebecca), Malinda (Tony), Elizabeth (Addam), Teresa (Steve) and Bethany (Nick), his daughter-in-law Gail O’Connor, her children Corriene (Troy) and Chris (Libby), and 14 great grandchildren.

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances O’Connor and his children, Tim and Terri, his parents, and his siblings: Emily, Paul, Theresa Bennett, James, and Mary Jo Schreck.

   A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Parish- Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, followed by a burial at Logan Park Cemetery. A reception at Blessed Sacrament Parish Hall will follow the burial.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.
