Tha Nguyen

Tha Nguyen, 76, of Vermillion, SD passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 8:00a.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux City, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for no gifts or flowers. Please keep the Nguyen family in your thoughts and prayers. 

Tha was born on April 2, 1946 to father Cho Nguyen and mother Cu Thi Nguyen in Hue, Vietnam. He married Chin Phan on June 16, 1987 in Hue, Vietnam. Throughout his years here in America Tha worked at Tyson Foods on the Meat Packing Line. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Chin, three children; Tien (An Le) Nguyen, Kim (Minh Pham) Nguyen, Tuan (Quyen Ho) Nguyen, four grandchildren; Gia Huy Nguyen, Sephora Nguyen, Selena Nguyen, and Taeya Nguyen and a daughter-in-law, Vivian Nguyen.

He is preceded in death by his son, Ryan Mozart Nguyen and his parents.
