Terry Lee Tucker

Terry Tucker, 67, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on April 14, 2023. She struggled with a lengthy illness from cancer. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 11am. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service with a luncheon to follow. Terry was born on June 27, 1955 in Camp Pendleton, CA to Orvall and Joanne (peterson) Hindman. She worked as a maid in her younger years at a luxury resort in Lincoln City, Oregon; Salishan Lodge. Terry was united in marriage to David Hayes Sr. and then to Rex Tucker. They later divorced. The family moved to Sergeant Bluff, IA in 1990 where Terry fought her way through nursing school as an RN to provide a better life for her kids. She loved arts & crafts, loved to shop, loved spoiling her cats, write letters, go thrifting, travel, and spend time with family. 

Those left to honor her memory include her children: David (Diem) Hayes Jr., Kansas City, MO, Raymond (Julie) Tucker, Sioux City, IA, Terra (Vixay) Bounchanh, Sioux City, IA; Father, Orval Hindman, Sioux City, IA; numerous Grandchildren; and a Brother, Larry Hindman, Lincoln City, OR.

She is preceded in death by her Mother, Joanne, ex-husband David Sr, daughter, Christina Hayes, and sister, Raeann Walton.
