Tammy Annette Craig

  Tammy Annette Craig, 55, of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at a local hospital. Services will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

  Tammy was born on July 12, 1967 in Sioux City, to Darrell and Vida (Caskey) Kunkel. She attended Sioux City schools and was a Sioux City resident for most of her life, but did spend time in both California and Minnesota.

  She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In her spare time, she loved playing her games on her computer or phone. She also loved spending time outside “tinkering” in the garage with her father, Darrell.

  More than anything, Tammy loved her grandchildren with her whole heart.

  Survivors include her mother, Vida Kunkel; her children: Jermaine Traylor, Preston Ellenbolt (Sara), Shaniece Kunkel-Craig, and Shayla “Calli” Jeffords; grandchildren: Malik Leon, Booker, Odarie Tafari, Jr., Odarie Tafari Massiah III, and Leia; four nieces; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

  She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents; her husband, Michael Craig; and other extended family.
