Susan L. Lytten

Susan L. Lytten, 78 of Dakota Dunes, SD passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022.

There will be a celebration of life service at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 4, 2022 at St. Luke Lutheran Church with a luncheon to follow. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com

Susan was born February 20, 1944 in Sac City, IA; she was the daughter of Eugene and Bernice (Weitzel) Lytten. Susan grew up in Spencer, IA and Sioux City. She graduated from East High School and then graduated with a nursing degree from WIT. She went to Morningside College and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1990. Susan spent most of her nursing career at Marian Health Center where she was the director of surgery until 1996.

Susan was a lifelong member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and she was a master gardener. Susan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and attending their activities.

Survivors include her children: Mark Boe (Lisa) of St. Cloud, MN, Tracie Deason (David) of Edwards, CO, Melanie Graves (Chris) of Dakota Dunes, SD; 10 grandchildren: Morgan Wold (Brandon), Courtney Brookins (Elliott), Nolan Boe, Cameron Boe, Lauren Deason, Taylor Glenn (Grant), Jordan Deason, Jace, Jack and Joe Graves; 3 great grandchildren: Bauer, Jameson and Flora; 2 sisters: Liz and Linda.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and a son Gregory.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
