Stephen Leon Cunningham

Stephen L. Cunningham, 69, of Sioux City, passed away February 9, 2021 at a local hospital.  Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be a memorial visitation Saturday, February 13 from 1-3:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.  Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Stephen was born on May 1, 1951 in Sioux City to Leon and Carol (Sardeson) Cunningham.  He resided in Sioux City throughout his life and was a former employee of Gateway.  He enjoyed watching baseball, collecting baseball cards, coins and classic cars. 

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Heather Cunningham, Sioux City, IA, Jon (Vicki) Cunningham, Guam; grandchildren: Tyler & J.B. Cunningham; former wife, Rita Cunningham, Sioux City; siblings: Jim (Holly) Cunningham, Sioux City, IA, Linda Kennedy, Hinton, IA, Joline Goosmann, Hinton, IA, Patrick Cunningham, Sioux City, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robbie Bardsley; and sister Stacy Beccard; and his beloved cat, Lucy.
