Stacia Eileen Dahlman

Stacia Eileen Dahlman, 81 of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from a long illness, with her family by her side.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at S. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City, NE. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday with the family present from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. There will be a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City. 

Stacy was born May 13, 1941 in Sioux City; she was the daughter of Arnold and Dorothy (Pierson) Benson. Stacy attended Cathedral Grade School and Heelan High School.

On January 29, 1959, Stacy married Ronald H. Dahlman. Their marriage was blessed with five children.

Stacy will be remembered for her quiet composure and giving nature. Each year family celebrated her birthday on the 2^nd Sunday of May along with Mother’s Day which fit her truly unselfish angel like nature. Stacy retired from IPS (now MidAmerican Energy).

Survivors include her children Michelle Schroeder, Jennifer Raynor (Mike), Jeff Dahlman (Kindra), Rick Dahlman (Renae) and Rod Dahlman (Tracy); her siblings Betty Harris, Debbie Nickerson, Chrissy Angove and Randy Olson (Deb); her sister in law: Marilyn Lake (Lanny); 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Stacy was preceded in death by her husband Ronald; her father Arnold Benson; her mother Dorothy Olson and her husband Clifford Olson.
