Shirlee Anne Rosenbaum passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, in Sioux City, Iowa. She was born on October 2, 1942, in Sioux City to Kenneth and Veronica “Bonnie” O’Dea, the youngest of eight siblings.

Shirlee dedicated nearly 30 years of her career to McDonald’s, where she formed many lasting friendships and took pride in her work. She especially loved cooking and preparing meals for family gatherings. Family was at the center of Shirlee’s life. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Shirlee found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She had a special fondness for collecting angels, surrounded herself with all things blue, her favorite color, and adored her beloved corgis, who brought her so much joy. She will be remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, gentle spirit, and wonderful sense of humor.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Shauna), Rick, and Rob (Billie Jo); her grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor, Tanner, Ryan Rosenbaum, Katie Lewis (Steven), and Samantha Menke (Mike); and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, LeRoy Rosenbaum.

Her family is deeply grateful for the kindness, love, and support shown during this difficult time.
