Sharon Lee Allison

Sharon L. Allison, 71 of Sioux City, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 peacefully at her home. Private family services are scheduled with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com

Sharon was born on February 26, 1953 in Sioux City, Iowa to Paul and Betheen (Leach) Simmons. Following her education, Sharon worked at Zenith, the Siouxland YMCA, Gateway, and retired working at Walmart. 

Sharon loved being a grandma and was one of her greatest joys! She enjoyed reading, knitting, painting, and watching scary movies and drama television shows. Sharon collected salt & pepper shakers, and cookie jars.

She is survived by her son Rick (Maricel) Allison, and his kids (her grandchildren) Trysten Allison, Paul Allison, Alex Allison; daughter Lisa (Brian) Harder; sisters Bonnie Simmons and Karen Dawdy.

Sharon was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Martinez, brothers Terry Simmons and Tom Simmons, and her parents.
