Shannon Kay Fiedler

Shannon Kay Fiedler, 53, of Remsen, IA, passed away suddenly surrounded by family Friday, June 21, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, 6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA with burial following at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service on Thursday. 

Shannon Kay (Clayton) Fiedler was born August 5, 1970, to Albert and Judy Clayton. She was born and raised in Sioux City, IA, and graduated from East High School in 1989. She married John Fiedler on May 1, 1999. Shannon had been working for Staples Promotional Products for the past 25 years. 

Shannon enjoyed many things throughout her life. Some of them include spending precious time with her family having cookouts and being together making memories. Shannon loved having fun spending time in her pool, laughing, and telling stories with her family. She had an infectious smile and big heart that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include husband John Fiedler, mother, Judy Rae Clayton; mother-in-law, Lavonne Fiedler; sister, Shelly Speck; sisters-in-law, Donna (Paul) Feller, Bonnie (Chuck) Hahn, Gail (Steve) Thill, Twyla (Todd) Lindsey; brother, Al (Vikki) Clayton; brothers-in-law, Eric Brandon, Gary (Barb) Fiedler, John Deman, Rick Fiedler, Loren (Annie) Fiedler, Dale (Sheila) Fiedler, Floyd (Debbie) Fiedler, Carl (Lisa) Fiedler, Todd (Sara) Fiedler, Jamie (Becky) Fiedler; daughters, Jami Van Muyden, Andi (Traiton Peck) Clayton; grandchildren Kaylinn Clayton and Oliver Van Muyden; many nieces and nephews. 

Shannon was preceded in death by her father Albert Clayton Jr, father-in-law Roman Fiedler, sister, Tammy Brandon; sisters-in-law, Vicki Deman, Steph Fiedler, Pam Fiedler; niece, Ashley Speck.
