Rose Marie Wolfe

Sioux City, Iowa

Rose Marie Wolfe, 73 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at a local hospital. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with visitation one hour prior, with family present. Interment will be at a later date. 

Rose Marie was born on July 3, 1951 in Diagnal, Iowa to Clyde C. and Lillian (Hullinger) Landis. She graduated from Clarinda High School in Clarinda, Iowa before furthering her education at Marylhurst College in Oregon, studying Theology. Rose Marie moved to Tabor, Iowa before living in Council Bluffs. She moved to Vancouver, Washington and on to Portland, Oregon before relocating to Sioux City in 2017. 

She married Louis Wolfe on August 27, 1988. During her life in Oregon, she enjoyed working at St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church, where she was a member, and where the whole family attended while in Portland. Rose Marie was really into the church and donating her time to the Senior Center. 

Rose Marie is survived by her son Jeff (Bethany) Stiverson and their 6 kids, Amanda, Jacob, Meaghan, Brittany, Brandon, and Bryan of Sloan, Iowa; daughter Tina Clark and her two children Noah and Emily of Sioux City; four great-grandchildren Charlotte, Connor, Leighton, and Hudson; and her youngest brother Carol (Sherry) Landis.

Rose Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis on January 6, 2023 in Gresham, Oregon, brothers Richard and Ron Landis, and her daughter Peggy.
