Rosa Maria Guerrero De Ramirez

Rosa María Guerrero de Ramírez, amada hija, madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga, falleció tranquilamente el 5 de mayo de 2025, a la edad de 53 años, rodeada de su familia, después de una valiente lucha de tres años contra el cáncer.

Nació el 9 de febrero de 1972 en San Roque de Montes, Guanajuato, México. Rosa fue conocida por su amabilidad, fortaleza, sentido del humor y su profunda fe en Dios. Rosa se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1996. Trabajó en John Morrell durante 5 años, donde conoció al amor de su vida, Francisco Ramírez.

Rosa y su esposo construyeron una hermosa vida juntos después de casarse el 9 de marzo de 1997. Su mayor alegría fue criar a sus cuatro hijos —Stephanie, Ariana, Aileen y Jared— inculcándoles amor, fe y el valor de las tradiciones familiares. Rosa tenía un gran corazón; encontraba alegría en tejer cobijas para recién nacidos, hornear sus famosas gorditas de harina, dirigir el rosario y cantar karaoke con su esposo.

Siendo la número 17 de 19 hermanos, compartía una amistad muy especial con cada uno de ellos, ofreciéndoles amor, sabiduría y un apoyo incondicional. Todos la querían profundamente; era a quien acudían en busca de consejos, y ofrecía un oído dispuesto a escuchar.

Su hogar era un santuario, un lugar donde se sentía el amor, resonaban las risas y todos eran recibidos con calidez. Tenía una forma especial de reconfortar a la gente con una comida o simplemente con su presencia.

La sobreviven su esposo, Francisco Ramirez Moreno; sus hijas Stephanie (Lemuel), Ariana (Alejandro) y Aileen (Gerardo); su hijo Jared y su nieto Oziel. También la sobreviven sus hermanos Antonio, Carmen, Victoria, Andrea, Amelia, Norberto, José, Demetrio, Lidia, Isidro, Esther, Agustín, Guadalupe, Refugio, Leonardo y Óscar Guerrero.

Rosa fue precedida en muerte por sus padres, Refugio Guerrero Flores y Adela Porras Pérez; sus hermanos José de Jesús y Narcisio Guerrero; su sobrina Karina Guerrero; su suegra Bertha Moreno-García; y sus cuñados Guadalupe García, José Luis Ramirez, Óscar Porras y Manuel Guerrero.

El velorio se llevará a cabo en Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel en Sioux City, el viernes 9 de mayo de 2025, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. La misa funeral se celebrará el sábado 10 de mayo de 2025, a las 10:00 a.m., en la Catedral de la Epifanía en Sioux City, seguida por el entierro en el cementerio Calvary.

Rosa Maria Guerrero De Ramirez, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2025, at the age of 53, surrounded by family, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

Born on February 9th, 1972 in San Roque De Montes, Guanajuato, Mexico. Rosa was known for her kindness, strength, sense of humor, and strong faith in God. Rosa moved to the United States in 1996. She worked at John Morrell for 5 years, where she met the love of her life, Francisco Ramirez.

Rosa and her husband built a beautiful life together after marrying on March 9th, 1997. Their greatest joy was raising their four children—Stephanie, Ariana, Aileen, and Jared—instilling in them love, faith, and the warmth of family traditions. Rosa had a heart full of passion, finding joy in knitting blankets for newborns, baking her famous gorditas de harina, leading the rosary, and singing karaoke with her husband.

As the 17th of 19 siblings, she shared a deep bond with each one of them, offering them love, wisdom, and unwavering support. Cherished by all, she was the one they turned to for guidance, always ready with heartfelt advice and a listening ear.

Her home was a sanctuary—a place where love was felt, laughter echoed, and everyone was embraced with warmth. She had a way of making people feel comfort through a warm meal or simply her presence.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco Ramirez Moreno, her daughters Stephanie (Lemuel), Ariana (Alejandro), and Aileen (Gerardo), her son Jared, and her grandson Oziel. Her siblings Antonio, Carmen, Victoria, Andrea, Amelia, Norberto, Jose, Demetrio, Lidia, Isidro, Esther, Agustin, Guadalupe, Refugio, Leonardo, Oscar Guerrero.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Refugio Guerrero Flores and Adela Porras Perez; her brothers, Jose de Jesus and Narciso Guerrero; her niece Karina Guerrero; her mother-in-law Bertha Moreno-Garcia; her siblings-in-law Guadalupe Garcia, Jose Luis Ramirez, Oscar Porras, and Manuel Guerrero.

Visitation will be held at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 9th, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City, with the burial services to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
