Roger F. Casey

Roger Casey, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Happy Siesta Healthcare Center in Remsen, Iowa.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 6, 2023, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with Father Tim Friedrichsen officiating.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Roger was born on May 14, 1961, in Sioux City, IA, the son of Don & Bonita (Cantin) Casey. 

Roger was born and raised in Sioux City until 1980 when he moved to Northwest Village in Sheldon, IA. Here lived in Sheldon until 2023 before moving to Happy Siesta Retirement Home in Remsen, IA for the last few months of his life.

He received excellent care over his life from people who loved and appreciated Roger's unique and fun-loving personality. Roger loved to be on the go and was always planning his next adventure.

He provided friends and family with many laughs and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his brothers: Larry and wife Barb Casey of Savannah, IL, and Vic and wife LaVonne of Gundy Center, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Ray and Don Casey.
