Robert "Robbie" A. Church

Robert “Robbie” Allen Church, 56 of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 after a short bout with cancer. A funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2026 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Robbie was born the son of Samuel and Sharon (Provost) Church on May 14, 1969 in Sioux City, Iowa.

He worked at Mid-Step Services for over 30 years and was a long-time resident of Courage Homes.

Robbie participated in track and the ball toss with Special Olympics. He also liked going on outings and listening to music, especially old country.

Survivors include his sister, Lori (Mike) Lias of Plattsmouth, NE and two brothers, Chris (Judy) Church and Steve (Tricia) Church both of Sioux City; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Sharon Church.

Robbie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Courage Homes who cared for him over many years.
