Ricky Lee "Rick" Becker

  Ricky L. “Rick” Becker, 68, of South Sioux City passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at an Omaha hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Mohr & Becker Hunt Funeral Home. Burial will be at Dakota City Cemetery.   Rick was born on May 19, 1954 in Sioux City, to John Becker, Sr. and Barbara O’Neill. He lived in South Sioux City for his entire life, and graduated from South Sioux City High School.

  He owned and operated Becker Logging for over 30 years.

  Rick was passionate about cars, and also enjoyed his motorcycle and boat. He loved being outdoors.

  He is survived by his daughter, Ricki Shelby Becker; his mother, Barbara O’Neill; three brothers: Mike (Marcia) Becker, Randy Becker, and Kelly (Etta) O’Neill; and a sister, Michelle (Tom) Mullins.

  He was preceded in death by his father, John Becker, Sr.
