Rhonda was born on December 17, 1961, in Battlecreek, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil Edward and Sharon Kay (Guffy) Kunkel. Rhonda was a proud alumna of Lawton Bronson High School where she excelled in both basketball and track.
In her professional career, Rhonda worked diligently in the billing and shipping department of John Morrell. Her colleagues admired her for being super-fast on the calculator, a skill that she impeccably honed over the years.
Rhonda's vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. She found immense joy in simple pleasures like sunbathing and relishing the water at the beach or pool. Rhonda had a passion for adventure, often enjoying joy rides while can hunting. Her green thumb was apparent to all as she poured her love into gardening, mowing lawns, and keeping things clean. Above all else, Rhonda treasured spending time with her grandkids and enthusiastically attended all their activities.
Rhonda will be dearly missed by her surviving family and friends who meant the world to her. She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Beavers; children: Justin (Carla) Beavers of McCook Lake, SD; Lacey Beavers (Scott Landean) of North Sioux City; Daniel Beavers Jr. (Tammy Solomon) of Sioux City; Tiffany (Jerry) Hardiman of Maricopa, AZ; Shannon (Matt) Buum of Vermillion, SD; grandchildren: Raquel, April, Joe, Lexi, Jade, Brianna, Tenley, Kayleigh, Brooklyn, Jayce, and Andrew; numerous great-grandchildren; mother Sharon Kunkel; and siblings: Debbie (Mike) Schenzel; Ed (Jessi) Kunkel; Karen (Glenn) Ludwig; Jeff (Tracy) Kunkel.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Virgil Kunkel, daughter Christie Densberger, brother Kenneth Kunkel and sister Jodi Kunkel.
In remembrance of Rhonda's remarkable life filled with love and laughter, may we find solace in the cherished memories we shared with her. She will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of light and warmth.
