Randy M. Holden

Randy M. Holden, 71, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at his home in Sioux City, IA, after a brief courageous battle with liver cancer. No public services will be held.

 Randy was born to Harry and Jo (Craig) Holden on March 24, 1953 in Wilton, ND, the third of five children. He grew up in Wing and attended Wing Public School. 

 Randy married Phyllis (Gimble) Carstens and from that marriage Randy had 3 sons. He adopted Phyllis’s son Scott and was blessed with two more sons, Michael and Jason. 

 He later met and married Laura Kinnaman in Sioux City, IA, and was blessed with a bonus daughter, Dusti (Kinnaman) Harling, her husband Tom and two step grandchildren.

 Randy is survived by his wife Laura; his sons: Scott (Cheri) of Arizona, Michael (Crystal) of St. Paul, MN; his stepdaughter, Dusti Kinnaman-Harling (Tom); grandchildren: Ashley Holden of Belle Fouche, SD, Kieran Holden of St. Paul, MN, Wyatt and Abigail Kinnaman of Las Vegas. Also surviving Randy are his siblings: Sandra Fox (Ken), Sheryl Berg (Bob), Renee Colby (Warren), and Craig Holden; and many nieces and nephews.

 Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and his son Jason.

 A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Rosehill Cemetery, Wilton ND.
