Randall L. "Randy" Oehlerking

  Randall L. “Randy” Oehlerking, 68, of Sioux City, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at his residence. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior.   Randy was born on April 16, 1954 in Sioux City, to William and Janice (Ziesler) Oehlerking. He graduated from Lawton Bronson High School, and was a longtime resident of Sioux City.

  On November 11, 1977 he married Marilyn M. Pauly, and to this union two sons were born. Marilyn and Randy later divorced. Marilyn passed away on February 15, 2016.

  Randy enjoyed playing cribbage, pool (billiards), and going bowling.

  He is survived by his two sons: Nicholas L. Oehlerking of Sioux City, and Travis L. Oehlerking of Sioux City; two grandchildren: Breanna and Nathan; sisters-in-law: Patricia “Patty” Oehlerking and Renette Oehlerking; brother-in-law, Dennis “Denny” Oehlerking; and Shelly Beckstrom, who was like a sister to Randy.

  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: William “Bill” Oehlerking, Kenneth “Kenny” Oehlerking, Cindy Schlichte, and Sherry Oehlerking Willson; and a brother-in-law, Keith Willson.
