Queenester Henderson

Queenester Henderson, 98, of Sioux City, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2023, at her home, while looking at the flowers and enjoying the weather. 

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Queenester was born March 4, 1925, in Boswell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Buster and Osie Keith.  She married Willie Henderson.  Queenester owned a neighborhood candy store.  She loved all the kids and was always feeding them whenever they were hungry.  She enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, and canning, but most of all she loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren (mostly Seneca).

Survivors include her grandchildren:  Seneca, Trevor, and Aaliyah Henderson; daughter Argilee Henderson; and great grandchildren:  Qyntrell, La’Vontae, and Dreden Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willie, daughter Quanzella Earnest, sisters:  Lennie Mae Trotter, Ida Mae Harding, noble Lee ross, and Helen Linder, and brother Ralph Finley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Qyntrell, La’Vontae, and Dreden Henderson.

Memorial Donations may be made to the family.
