Paul L. McCardle, 87 of Sioux City, formerly of the Ponca, Nebraska area, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at a Sioux City nursing facility.  Abiding by his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be announced on this media in the next couple days to be scheduled following the Labor Day Holiday at the Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca, Nebraska.  A family interment of the urn will be at the Silver Creek Cemetery of Rural Ponca at a later date.
