It is with extreme sadness to announce the passing of Paul J. Anderson, 55, of Jefferson, SD. He was born on November 26, 1970, in Windom, MN to Philip and Mary (Hartzell) Anderson. He worked as a draftsman for Industrial Design Fabrication and Installation Inc. (IDFI). He will be remembered by many for his masterful guitar skills, his homemade pizzas, scum salad, and his sense of humor.
He will be missed by his beloved Pam Schindler of Jefferson, SD; dad Phil (Carolyn) Anderson of Windom, MN; siblings Angela (Bob) Bergendahl of Sioux City, IA; Janet (Lee) Lensegrav of Sioux Falls, SD; Robert Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD; and Christopher (Dana) Anderson of Windom, MN; sister-in-law Daiana Anderson of Osakis, MN; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by brother Alan Anderson, and mother, Mary Anderson.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 1-3 p.m. with sharing of memories at 2 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel at 3220 Stone Park Blvd. in Sioux City, IA. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Windom, MN at a later date.
