Patricia "Patty" Mitchell

Patricia “Patty” Mitchell, 87, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at her home. 

Per Patty’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.  Online condolence may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Patty was born March 2, 1933 in Moville, IA, the daughter of Raymond and Maxine (Dice) Johnson.  She graduated from Central High School.  Patty married Wayne B. Mitchell and to this union four children were born.

Patty worked in management for various places including the Hilton and Flamingo hotels.  She loved to bargain shop with her daughter Debe and collect Elvis Presley and Coca Cola memorabilia.

Survivors include her children:  Dave (Debra) Mitchell of McCook Lake, SD, Rich Mitchell of Sioux City, Debe (Dan) Murphy of Sioux City, and Douglas (Connie) Mitchell of Grand Haven, MI; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Wayne, sister Jackie, and significant other Leonard Kurtz.
