Oscar Garcia Jr., 68, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 4, 2025. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City, Iowa. Burial will be at a later date. Family will receive visitors beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Luncheon to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the wonderful man he was.

Oscar cherished his family and was a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend. He especially loved being a grandfather, finding joy in every moment spent with his grandchildren—whether sharing stories, attending events, or simply enjoying time together. His warmth, humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him.

Oscar is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irma; his daughter, Jennifer (Lemmer) and her husband, Ryan; and his beloved grandchildren, Caden and Berkley, along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
