Nathan M. Irwin, 21, of Jackson, NE passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 10, 2012.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca, NE with Rev. Dr. Bud Christenson officiating. Burial will be in the Newcastle Cemetery in Newcastle, NE. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M., with the family present at 6:00 P.M. and a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the church, Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE. He graduated from Newcastle High School. He loved music, playing guitar, spending time with his Grandpa, and was very loyal to his friends. Nathan was a member of the Conservatory of Music in Sioux City, IA.Survivors include his parents, Glenn Irwin of Newcastle, NE and Kerri Irwin of Jackson, NE; two brothers, Brenden Irwin of Newcastle, NE and Bryson Irwin of Kearney, NE; one sister, Kayla Kayl of Elk Point, SD; grandparents, Judy and Frank Rager of Jackson, NE, Lois Fowler of Newcastle, NE and Geri Kayl of Ponca, NE; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.Nathan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Kayl; and an uncle, Michael Rager.
