Nancy J Selliris

Nancy J Selliris, 88, died Thursday, December 7, 2023, with her family by her side.

Services will be at 10:30 am on December 13, 2023, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with Father Sava Leida officiating. Luncheon will follow service and burial will follow luncheon at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12th at 6:00 pm with Trisagion Service at 7:00 pm at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Nancy was born November 10, 1935, in Velvendo, Greece the daughter of John and Anna Demetroulis. She married Orestis Selliris on January 19, 1964, in the village of Velvendo. In March of 1964 they moved to City Island, NY where they owned the Island Diner. The couple moved to Sioux City in 1973 where they owned the Copper Kettle. She was a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Sioux City involved in the Philoptochos and proud to be a part of the church Choir.

Nancy is survived by her son Anthony (Becky) Selliris of Hastings, MN; daughter Maria (Jerry) Bauerly of Olathe, KS; grandchildren: Nick, Kathryn, Elle Bauerly and Alexandra (Ryan) Fuller, Orestes and Sophia Selliris; great grandchild Leo Bauerly; brother George Demetroulis and sisters in law and two nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Choir.
