Nancy (Holgate) Green

Nancy (Holgate) Green, 82, of South Sioux City, peacefully transitioned to Heaven on Thursday, October 13, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. She was born to Robert and Eva Holgate on August 1, 1940. Nancy was the oldest sister of her three brothers: Dennis, Allen, and Jerry Holgate. 

Nancy was known for her love for her family, her sense of humor, and her love of Elvis Presley. At the end of Nancy’s life, she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren, brother, and friends, as well as share final moments of jokes, stories, and laughter. The love for Nancy from her family was evident and often commented on by the hospital staff who supported her and those who visited her prior to her passing. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy was known as a mother to her three children: Scott (Donita) Green, Sandra (Bill) Morgan, and Shelly (Kevin) Schaeuble. Nancy was a grandmother to her 8 grandchildren: Traci (Brian) Levitin, Stephanie Motz, Taylor (Tim) Combs, Rylee (fiancé Joe Contois) Green, Jennifer (Mike) Chesher, Britni (Don) Fortna, Brennan (Aram Yu) Schaeuble, and Briana (Sam) Halse. She was also a great grandmother, known as “Triple G”, to 11 great grandchildren: Teagon, Jade, Jagger, Ayden, Brooks, Harper, Cooper, Harlen, Malia, Lyric, and Kaleb.
