Morgan Schroeder found peace on Tuesday, September 23, at the age of 31.
An avid artist, writer, and Diet Coke lover, Morgan was a pillar of her friend group. No one who met Morgan could forget her sense of humor, her strong sense of justice for the marginalized, and the creative endeavors she poured her heart and soul into. She built a legacy of empathy and understanding within her family. She made us better.
She was preceded in death by her son, Oliver, and her paternal grandmother, Susan Noonan Schroeder, and her dog Lily, who began the family’s lifelong love of dogs.
She will always be remembered by her parents, Angela and Brant Bemus, and Jason and Dannee Schroeder; her seven siblings, Kelsey (Zachary) Henaman, Benjamin Bemus, Abigail McLoud, Grace McLoud, Colin Schroeder, Chloe Hackett, and E.J. Hackett; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Kathleen Charlson; her paternal grandfather, Jack Schroeder; and her beloved bunny, Luna.
Her family will hold a private service to celebrate her life and mourn her loss. Following the service, she will be interred at Calvary Cemetery. Friends are welcome to process with the family from Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel to Calvary Cemetery for the burial at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, September 29, 2025.
She will be deeply missed.
