Milton D. Van Cleave

October 24, 1977 — August 13, 2020

Milton D. Van Cleave, Jr., 42, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 of natural causes.  A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Bacon Creek Park.  

Milton was born the son of Milton Van Cleave, Sr. and Catherine Stoddard on October 24, 1977 in Sioux City, Iowa.  He received his schooling in Kentucky.  Milton moved to Sioux City 16 years ago to be closer to his father.  He worked for Meier Towing, Stockton Towing, Subway and several other places over the years. 

He enjoyed fishing, tinkering with small motors, and junking.  He loved to drive around and pick up scrap metal and whatever else he could find.  Milton was the guy you counted on when you needed help.  He was always there for his family and friends. 

Milton is survived by his longtime companion, Amber Jenkins of Sioux City; son, Tyler (Haleigh) Love of Kentucky and their children, Khole and Addison; father, Milton (Charmayne) Van Cleave, Sr. of Sioux City; mother, Catherine (David) Roth of Kentucky; step-children, Brianna Winbolt, Bryan Winbolt, and Chase Sweisberger; brothers, Michael Drugsvold, Elmer Drugsvold, and David Swink; sisters, Shirley Hinkelvig, Linda (Scott) Roth, Barbara Costillo; step-sisters, Heidie Dunson, Terra (Randy) Hernandez, Tabatha Calvillo; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Scrappy.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John.
