Milton D. Van Cleave

Milton David Van Cleave, 76, of North Sioux City, SD passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Milton was born on January 29, 1948 to Deward “Todd” Van Cleave and Elizabeth “Dolly” (Hankins) Van Cleave in Jackson, NE.

He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa.

Milton worked construction for Brower for many years. Driving truck was his life. His passion was loving and taking care of everyone.

He married the love of his life Charmayne Clinkenbeard on July 21, 1999.

He is survived by his wife Charmayne; his six daughters: Shirley, Linda (Scott), Barb, Heidie, Terra (Randy), and Tabatha; 21 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; three sisters: Joyce, Betty, and Lelah; and two brothers: LeRoy and Edward (Toni). Many more called him Dad and Grandpa. He will be missed by his best buddy/fur baby Roket.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one brother; and three sons: David, Milt, and John John.

A Celebration of Life for Milton will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Northport located at 749 Streeter Drive in North Sioux City.
