Mildred D. Heinemann

Mildred D. Heinemann, 87 of South Sioux City passed away Monday, July 29, 2024. A memorial service will be 1:30 P.M. Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City. 

Mildred was born the daughter of Herman and Elsie (Keuck) Schincke on June 29, 1937 in Winnebago, Nebraska. She graduated from Hubbard High School and then married George Heinemann on May 20, 1956. They made their home in South Sioux City. George passed away in 1994. 

Millie worked in the lumberyard business as a bookkeeper for Hudson & Holmes and then Burke Engineering until her retirement. 

She enjoyed doing crossword and picture puzzles. She also sewed many patchwork quilts over the years. 

Mildred is survived by her brothers, Marvin Schincke of South Sioux City and Donald Schincke of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; brothers, Richard and Kenneth; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Judy.
