Michael "Mike" Raymond Rowe

January 12, 1969 — October 6, 2022

Michael Raymond Rowe, 53, of Sioux City passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior at the church.  Burial will be at Omaha Valley Cemetery in rural Homer, NE.  

Mike was born January 12, 1969 in Sioux City, the son of Raymond and Kathleen (McManigal) Rowe.  He graduated from Heelan High School in 1987 and attended the University of South Dakota and the University of Nebraska Omaha.  Mike worked in the audio-visual field and lived in Lake Tahoe, California, Kansas City, Kansas, and Omaha, Nebraska before returning to Sioux City.  He loved to fish, build guns, and spend time with his niece, nephew, great niece, and great nephews.  Mike was a member of the NRHA and the Hawkeye Rifle and Pistol Club. 

Survivors include his parents Raymond and Kathleen Rowe of Sioux City; fiancée Larisa VanSickler and her son Tayton VanSickler of Sioux City; sister Melissa and husband David “Sparky” Warren of Sioux City and Emerson, NE; niece Rachel and her husband Trevor Poland and their children Cooper, Tucker, and Ashlynn; and nephew Patrick and his wife Liz Weber. 

Mike was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Patrick Weber, Sr., his great niece Ainsley Poland, his Grandma Mac and his Uncle Mike.
