Throughout his life, Michael demonstrated an unyielding work ethic and a passion for his career. He spent his early years contributing his talents at Unisys Corporation, Bomgaars, and Prince Manufacturing. However, it was his entrepreneurial spirit that led him to open and operate Deck Doctors, a venture that allowed him to showcase his skills and creativity while providing for his family and serving his community.

Michael's legacy is not just in the work he did, but also in the love he shared with his wife, Lynda. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless cherished memories. They were a team in every sense of the word, navigating life's ups and downs with grace and resilience. Alongside them were their beloved fur-babies, Leslie and Comehere, who brought immeasurable joy to their home and hearts.

A graveside service to honor Michael's life will take place on August 29, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. The family invites all who knew him to join in celebrating his remarkable spirit and the love he so freely gave.
