Megan Ann Schonrock, 35, of Sergeant Bluff, passed away on September 12, 2025, at an Omaha, Nebraska hospital surrounded by her loved ones by her side. Megan's life was filled with joy, love, and the radiant spirit that touched everyone she encountered.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Megan was born on January 19, 1990, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of David and Robin (Means) Schonrock. Megan grew up in Sioux City and Sergeant Bluff, graduating from Sergeant Bluff in 2011, Megan continued her journey by attending Goodwill Integrated Service Day Habilitation. Throughout her life, she demonstrated a remarkable enthusiasm for activities that enriched her experiences. A cherished participant in the Challenger League and Miracle Baseball League, Megan found great joy in playing sports, which mirrored her adventurous spirit.

Megan was also an avid movie lover, particularly captivated by the heartwarming narratives of Disney and Pixar films. Her infectious laughter and beaming smile were as memorable as her profound love for her family, especially her brother's dogs, Lady and Rebel. She exemplified joy in the everyday moments, embodying a zest for life that inspired those around her.

Megan leaves behind a loving family. She is survived by her mother, Robin Schonrock of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her father, Dave (Kris) Schonrock of Sioux City; her brother, Jared Schonrock of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her half-brother, Matt (Stacy) Schonrock of Kansas City, KS; and her nephew, Hudson, and niece, Leighton; numerous aunts and uncles; and all her loving caregivers throughout her life.

Megan is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Connie Means; her paternal grandparents, Leonard and Bonnie Schonrock; her step-grandmother, Ardice Schonrock; her uncle, Ronnie Means; and her beloved dog, Trogdor.
