Obituary

Megan Michelle Miller, 39, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Megan was born June 12, 1987, in Sioux City, the daughter of Leonard and Margaret (Alderson) Miller. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from West High School in 2005. Megan dedicated over 15 years to VIZIO, where her hard work and dedication led her to her most recent role as manager.

Megan found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially when they involved the people she loved most. A true "Race Wife," she loved spending time at the dirt track, cheering alongside her husband and boys and making memories together. She looked forward to summer vacations filled with sunshine, sandy beaches, and precious family time. Megan also enjoyed fishing, getting lost in a good book, and taking time to do her nails.

Above all else, Megan's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mom to her two boys, Cooper and Declan. They were her whole world, the center of her heart, and the reason behind so much of her happiness. Nothing meant more to Megan than being present in their lives, cheering them on, sharing in their adventures, and making memories they could carry with them forever. Whether it was a day at the racetrack, a family vacation, or simply spending time together at home, it wasn't what they were doing that mattered most to Megan—it was being together. Her love for her boys was unconditional, unwavering, and the most beautiful part of who she was. Though her time with them was far too short, the love she poured into their lives will remain with them always, a lasting reminder of just how deeply they were cherished.

Megan's love extended to her entire family, and she treasured the moments they shared. She will be remembered for her devotion to those closest to her, the memories made along the way, and the tremendous love she had for her husband and sons.

Those left to cherish Megan's memory include David Miller and their beloved sons, Cooper and Declan Miller; her father, Leonard Miller of Sioux City; her siblings: Renee (John) Hathaway of Bennet, Nebraska, Linette (Adam) Erickson of Melvin, Iowa, Jeff (Katie) Miller of Valley Springs, South Dakota, Chad Miller of Sioux City, Matthew Miller of Sioux City, and Brice Miller of Sioux City; her father-in-law, Richard Miller; mother-in-law, Deb (Daren) White; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Samantha (Brett) Harris, Taylor Miller, and Travis Miller; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Miller.

Megan's greatest legacy will forever be the love she gave her boys. While they must now carry her memory instead of holding her hand, they will always have the countless moments, lessons, laughter, and love that only a mother can give. Her love will continue to surround Cooper and Declan throughout their lives, reminding them that they were, and always will be, her greatest blessing.

Memorial donations may be directed to David and the boys in Megan's memory.
