Memorial Service will be held 11:45 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel in Sioux City. Inurnment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com Sioux City native Marvin graduated from Central High School in 1954 and enlisted into the Marines following graduation. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton in California and discharged in July of 1957. After returning home Marvin met his wife while working as a bartender at The Patio. In February 1960, they were married and Marvin went on to start a long career as an optician with House of Vision, Dr. Reeder, and Pech Optical. He retired at the age of 70 to move on to his next great adventure his honey do list. Never-ending he enjoyed various odd hobbies including gardening, woodworking, and tinkering. Marvin was preceded in death by his mother Gladys, father Harry, sister Lois, brothers; Meryle, Ernie, Darrell and grand-daughter Ashley. He is survived by his wife Mary (Bobbie), two children, Barb and Russ, four grandchildren; Nicole, Trisha, Travis, Alex, four great-grandchildren; Leylianna, Xavian, Chase and Carlie.
