Mark Duane "Bud" Daniels

Mark Duane "Bud" Daniels, 62, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, peacefully passed away, surrounded by his family at his residence in Carroll, Nebraska on May 25, 2024.
 
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 3, 2024, at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca with Pastor Chuck Stanga officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. at the church.  To honor and celebrate Bud's life, the family asks guests to wear their Husker gear and denim.
 
Bud was born on January 11, 1962, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Dean and Dorothy (Jansen) Daniels.  He attended Ponca Schools.  Bud married Lisa Pinard on August 12, 2000, at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca.
 
Bud led a fulfilling life dedicated to hard work and generosity. Throughout his career, he worked at C&H, McRoberts Trucking, Les Albrecht Farms for many years, Pick Farms, and Loberg Farms. His dedication and strong work ethic were truly commendable.
 
Bud found joy in various hobbies such as ice fishing, attending cruise nights, cheering for the Huskers, and spending quality time outdoors – especially when he was 4 wheeling or cruising around in the side by side. His unwavering support for his grandkids at their sporting events showcased his loving nature.
 
Bud is survived by his beloved wife Lisa; his children: Amanda (Chris) Faust of Hastings, NE, Aaron (Tracy) Daniels of Wayne, NE, Lana Kutz of Valley, NE; and grandchildren: Alexis, Kade, Jayce, Shayne, Gracelynn, Tyler, Hope, and Brennen. Bud is also survived by his sisters: Brenda Eslick of Emerson NE; Marcia (Ryan) Saegebarth of Pierce NE; Annette Schnoor of Ponca NE; Nancy (Trevin) Wimmer of Ponca NE; Penny (Martin) Benton of Dakota City NE; and Sisters-in-law:  Carla and Curt Logue of Anthon. IA, Jackie and Ron Kurth of Sgt. Bluff, IA, and Rikki Pinard of Le Mars, IA.
 
He is preceded in death by his parents Dean and Dorothy Daniels, parents-in-laws:  Joe and Marie Pinard and brothers-in-law Kent Eslick, Alan Schnoor, and Mike Pinard.
