Marjorie L. Barto

Marjorie L. Barto, 90 of Sioux City passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Marjorie was born the daughter of Levi and Mae Maude (Montgomery) Barto on May 29, 1935 in Wakefield, Nebraska. She attended Wakefield High School. Marjorie married Earl Rhodes. They later divorced. She then married Darwin “Duffy” Solomon. To this union six children were born. They later divorced in 1984.

Marjorie loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed country music, going to casinos, shopping, and watching WWE Wrestling.

Marjorie is survived by her sons, Bernie (Jen) Solomon, Brad (Victoria) Solomon, and Brian (Jodi Irwin) Solomon; grandchildren, Sonny, Travis (Kayla), Mandy (Jeff), Ryan, Jessica (Trenton), Theodore, Corey (Lily), Keith, Dylan (Olivia), Devan (Tyler), Dawson (Brittany), Chandler, Jennifer, Aaron, and Crystal; and great grandchildren, Trent, Wyatt, Hadley, Asher, Sloan, Rory, Theo, and Max.

She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Bill, Bruce, and Tina; and siblings, Irene, Russell, Margaret, Lawrence, Rolland, and Ida Mae.
