Maria Guadalupe Cabrera, 77, passed away April 4, 2025 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Per her wishes, cremation will take place.
Maria was born on May 11, 1947 in Weslaco, Texas to Jose Luis Aguilar and Petra Cepeda. Maria went on to marry the love of her life, Rafael L. Cabrera in September of 1972. Maria and Rafael had four children together.
She is survived by her husband, Rafael L. Cabrera of South Sioux City, NE; son, Juan Cabrera; daughter, Amira (Cabrera) Reyes of McAllen, TX; daughter, Maria A. Cabrera; and son, Rafael L. Cabrera of South Sioux City, NE; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Luis Aguilar and Petra Cepeda; as well as her in-laws, Rafael Luis Cabrera Arano and Margarita Pena Hernandez.
