Manuel J. Valladolid

Manuel J. Valladolid, 89, of Sioux City, IA passed away April 2, 2023 at a local hospital.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is handling the arrangements.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.   Online condolences may be made to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Manuel was born on June 27, 1933 in Sioux City, IA to Manuel and Emilia (Torres) Valladolid.  He graduated from Heelan High School in 1951 and joined the United States Navy.  He was honorably discharged in 1956.  On April 6, 1957 Manuel was united in marriage to Pattie Wroth.  Manuel began his career working for Illinois Central Railroad where he worked for 32 years.  He then worked for 10 years at Federal Express, retiring in 1993.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Pattie Valladolid, Sioux City, IA; son, Tony Valladolid Sr., Sioux City, IA; daughter, Michele Gama, Goodyear, AZ; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and one brother.
